Tonight, I decided to stay in and watch two movies I’ve had for a long time and never seen. I’d say it was time well spent.
I recommend that everyone reads this — I did. I needed to read it.
Worth reading.
Very insightful read. :)
Stop thinking you’re not ready. – Nobody ever feels 100% ready when an opportunity arises. Because most great opportunities in life force us to grow beyond our comfort zones, which means we won’t feel totally comfortable at first.
Fans of the show Breaking Bad might remember the episode “Fly” from season 3, when Walt became obsessed with a fly contaminating the lab. Last night, I had a similar experience and it reminded me of my favorite episode. I’m usually a deep sleeper, but just after 4AM I woke up to the sound of a smoke detector chirp. You know that annoying sound it makes when the battery is dead? I tried my best to ignore it and go back to sleep but I couldn’t. I laid in bed for about 5 minutes just hoping it would finally stop and it never did. Frustrated, I got out of bed to fix the problem but I wasn’t sure which smoke detector it was. Once I discovered the culprit, I took out the battery and attempted to go back to sleep. But because the smoke detectors are hardwired, and one is now missing a battery, the chirping continued. I then ventured back into the hallway, disconnected the detector, dropped it on the floor and left it there. I couldn’t go back to sleep until hours later.
I’m just gonna stay up all night and watch cartoons.
I complain about not having anything to wear, but when I buy new stuff I don’t have anywhere to hang it.
People often ask me how many siblings I have, and because I think i’m so clever, I give them a riddle to see if they can figure it out.
I’m the middle child, I have an older sister, and I’m the second son.
How many siblings do I have?
11+13+10 = Good day.
I’ve literally been inside all day (with the exception of checking the mail this afternoon) and I couldn’t be happier. I watched some football, took a nap, ate taco bell, and watched couple of movies, including Scott Pilgrim vs. The World which I really liked. I had no intention to see it before but then everyone raved about it so I finally got a chance to watch it and it’s pretty effing awesome. I think I’ll get out of the house tonight though. Some social interaction with peers would be nice.
